1. Introduction
Get Uniformed Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all of our operations and supply chains. We are dedicated to acting ethically and with integrity, and to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply network.
This policy applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees, contractors, suppliers and business partners.
2. Company Structure & Operations
Our UK-based headquarters handles design, fulfilment, customer service, branding, and logistics.
We supply workwear, uniforms, protective clothing, and accessories to clients across various sectors, including trades, hospitality, healthcare, and corporate clients.
We engage with multiple suppliers for raw materials, manufacturing, decoration (embroidery, printing), transportation, and packaging.
3. Our Supply Chains
We source materials, components, finished goods, and additional services both domestically and internationally.
Our supply chain includes fabric mills, garment manufacturers, printing & embroidery workshops, packaging producers, and logistics providers.
We endeavour to partner only with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical standards.
4. Risks of Modern Slavery
We recognise that several areas in the supply chain are more susceptible to risks of modern slavery, including:
Manufacturing stages overseas, particularly in regions with weaker labour protections.
Subcontracted labour in decoration (e.g. embroidery, screen printing).
Packaging and logistics operations.
We are conscious that risks include forced labour, underpayment, excessive working hours, unsafe working conditions, and lack of transparency in subcontracting networks.
5. Policies & Due Diligence Processes
To address these risks, we have instituted the following measures:
Supplier Code of Conduct: we require all suppliers to adhere to ethical labour practices, including fair wages, safe working conditions, prohibition of forced or child labour, and respect for workers’ rights.
Supplier Contracts: standard terms include clauses that forbid modern slavery and require compliance with relevant labour laws.
Due Diligence:
• We perform background checks and audits of key suppliers, especially those overseas.
• We ask for information on labour practices, working hours, wages, and subcontracting.Monitoring: we include monitoring and performance checks during production and prior to shipment.
Whistleblowing and Reporting: employees or stakeholders who suspect any violation may report via confidential channels; we investigate thoroughly.
6. Training & Awareness
We provide training to staff involved in procurement, supplier management, quality assurance, and fulfilment, to help them understand the signs of modern slavery.
Staff are encouraged to ask questions, report concerns, and ensure that suspicious behaviour in any part of our operations is escalated.
7. Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and assess our policies and supplier practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
We evaluate key indicators, such as supplier audit results, incidents reported, and corrective actions implemented.
If we identify deficiencies, we take corrective steps, which may include requiring supplier improvement, or in severe cases, terminating relationships.
